Langley Mobile Home Village Introduce
For residents of the Virginia Peninsula looking for a combination of affordability, security, and a central location, Langley Mobile Home Village presents a compelling opportunity. Located in the city of Hampton, this established manufactured home community has built a reputation over the years as a quiet and reliable residential enclave. In a region where the cost of living can be influenced significantly by the proximity to major military and scientific hubs, this park offers a stable alternative for individuals and families who want to be at the heart of the action without the high price tag associated with traditional real estate in the "7 Cities" area.
The community is particularly well-suited for those who appreciate the unique energy of the Hampton Roads region. Residents often describe the neighborhood as a peaceful retreat that avoids the "dumpy" aesthetic sometimes associated with older manufactured home parks. Instead, Langley Mobile Home Village is characterized by a clean, well-lit environment and a management style that emphasizes fairness and property upkeep. For many who call this village home, it provides more than just a place to live; it offers a front-row seat to the region's aerospace and automotive heritage, creating a living experience that is distinctly Virginian.
Location and accessibility are the primary draws for this community. Situated at 2 Collier Dr, Hampton, VA 23666, the village is strategically placed near the intersection of major transit routes. For commuters, the park offers quick and easy access to the interstate, making trips to Newport News, Norfolk, or Virginia Beach straightforward. This convenience extends to everyday needs as well, with a variety of shopping centers, local businesses, and dining options just a few minutes away. Its position on the Peninsula makes it a hub for those who work at the nearby industrial parks or major regional attractions.
Perhaps the most notable geographic feature of Langley Mobile Home Village is its proximity to Langley Air Force Base (JBLE) and the NASA Langley Research Center, both of which are located just across the street. This proximity means that residents are frequently treated to "personal air shows" as military aircraft transit the area. Additionally, for sports enthusiasts, the historic Langley Speedway is located right next door, providing weekend entertainment within walking distance. This concentration of local landmarks ensures that the community remains connected to the vibrant pulse of Hampton's cultural and economic life.
The services offered at Langley Mobile Home Village are designed to provide a low-maintenance and cost-effective lifestyle. The park is professionally managed, with a park manager who is frequently cited by long-term residents for being proactive and responsive to community concerns. By focusing on essential onsite services and maintaining a clear fee structure, the park ensures that residents can manage their budgets effectively while enjoying a safe environment.

Features and highlights of the community revolve around its quiet atmosphere and unique surroundings. Despite its closeness to high-activity areas like the Speedway and Air Force base, the interior of the park remains a "quiet neighborhood" where residents often stay for decades. The park’s layout promotes a sense of privacy for each lot while fostering a neighborly spirit among those who live there. The combination of historical significance, aerospace activity, and affordable leasing makes it a standout choice on the Virginia Peninsula.

Customer Reviews
I have lived here for 18 years & this is a quiet neighborhood. Our park manager is AWESOME! She stays on top of things & is fair when dealing with people. This place is the cheapest in the 7 cities with easy & quick access to the interstate, shopping, businesses, & attractions.
This is my home and I am really pleased with it. Really nice and Definitely not dumpy like other mobile home parks! You get your own personal air show because the Airforce base is across the street as well as NASA. Also, Langley Speedway is right next door.
The park manager is a tyrant.Selective on property enforcement. Over bills fees. I'm my opinion they are running out long standing Tennants In dubious ways
The office manager Pharisee put a note on my door threatening that she'd charge me100.00 dollars to have someone mow my grass if I didn't have it mowed in 48 hours. I mentioned the cost was higher than usual, but she charged the fee anyways. The following month she charged me 130.00 to have someone mow my grass. She told me directly that she decides what the mow fee is. She shows little compassion on the residents out here.
Regarding the comment about the fee for mowing my grass; I read that the fee is based on density, or how hard it is to mow? If that's true then explain why my grass is thinner because it's winter time, therefore making it easier to mow, but I got charged 130.00 this time. However, when the months were warmer and the grass was sticker I was charged less.
