Location and Accessibility
McGregor Campground is located at 14 Harlow Rd, Cummington, MA 01026, USA. Its location is one of its most compelling features, offering a balance between secluded wilderness and accessibility. For those traveling from within Massachusetts, it is conveniently located off Route 9, a major east-west roadway that connects the Berkshires to the Pioneer Valley. This makes it an easy drive for weekend warriors coming from Northampton or Pittsfield.
The physical terrain of the campground is characterized by its wooded lots and proximity to the tranquil waters of the region. While the roads leading to the site are well-maintained, the final approach via Harlow Road provides that immediate sense of "getting away from it all." Visitors should note that while the campground is accessible for most standard vehicles, the rustic nature of the area means that larger RVs should plan their route carefully to navigate the charming but narrow New England backroads.
