When deciding where to stay in the Corning area, MorningStar RV Park is worth choosing specifically for its commitment to a quiet, adult-friendly, and distraction-free environment. For many New York travelers, the absence of noisy pavilions, swimming pools, and organized loud activities is the park's greatest asset. It is a place where you can sit by a fire and actually hear the sounds of the forest, making it a true retreat for those who find "resort-style" camping too hectic.

Furthermore, the personal attention from the owner is a significant factor in the park's appeal. Whether it is providing extra wood planks to help level a trailer or offering tips on the best local fishing spots, the hospitality at MorningStar creates a sense of community and safety. The park's value is also found in its incredible views—both of the surrounding hills during the day and the expansive star-filled sky at night. If you are looking for a clean, well-maintained, and peaceful place to park your RV while exploring the wonders of the Finger Lakes, MorningStar RV Park is an exceptional choice that offers the best of New York’s natural charm.

Quiet, well spaced sites, at the base of a 300 acre hill with nature trails that had a 350ft change of elevation for those priceless cardiac points. Deer, porcupine, groundhogs. The site was level to a half inch already, and included a grill and picnic table. Also included darker Bortle 3-4 skies for sitting out and star gazing. Finally, the owner couldn't be nicer.

Great little campground for people who like peace and quiet. This place is no frills in the best way possible. No pool, activities, and pavilion means no noise. There were a few kids there, but they were quiet because they were on their campsite having fun not running around the site. There is one shower, but it's clean! I never had to wait on the bathroom or shower. The bathrooms were also clean and critter free. We have a Casita with a short electric hookup (15 feet) so spot 11 was a bit of a challenge for us. It was impossible to be level without some "help". The owner of the campground came to visit and saw were were struggling to stabilize the trailer. He ran home got some wood planks and helped us re-park the camper. The fire pits are awesome. They have a little grill top that swings over the fire. It's also great to warm up your chocolate and gram cracker while you are toasting marshmallows.Spot 1& 2 are completely shaded and have some trees to hook a hammock to. Spot 11 had no shade, but it also had no neighbors behind us. If I am in the area again, this is where I will be staying.

Love this place. 3 years now I've done at least one trip with them and my family and I love it. It's quiet and you don't have all the ridiculousness that comes with big camp grounds like the KOA nearby. You also have full hookup which is part of my camping preference(not for everyone). When I go camping it's more to get away and not have to deal with all the craziness of the world. This camp ground is just that. I'll keep booking sites here as the years go on. The trails nearby are also fun and relaxing. There is a train that goes by just couple times every 24 hours but it's not persistent by any means they're short trains which don't disrupt you much. Highly recommend this place. Can't say it enough. And the owners are very nice and welcoming while allowing you your privacy. If you want to be away from a ton of people and the highly energetic crowd of the big campground then this place won't disappoint!

This is a little slice of Heaven. A small quiet park that is just starting. Very nice helpful owners. This lovely little park is a work in progress and close to Corning, Watkins Glen and many state parks. There are hiking trails, a trout stocked stream and wildlife (we had deer visit), so if you want a centrally located peaceful RV park, this is the one for you. We are returning in October for the fall foliage.

Nice little place. Small, grass lot. Has electric. Several big seasonal campers and a few open sights.
