Mountainview Mobile Home Park Introduce

For those navigating the beautiful landscapes of Central New York, finding a reliable and tranquil place to park an RV or establish a manufactured home is a top priority. Mountainview Mobile Home Park, located in the vibrant city of Oneonta, stands as a premier destination for residents and travelers alike. Established for over 30 years and family-owned since 1995, this community offers a stable, welcoming environment that emphasizes quiet living and professional management. Situated on approximately 38 acres of scenic land, the park provides a perfect balance between the rugged beauty of the Catskill foothills and the modern conveniences of the Greater Oneonta area.

The park is widely recognized by local New Yorkers for its well-maintained grounds and friendly atmosphere. As a "premier family-owned community," Mountainview focuses on creating a culture where residents feel at home for the long term. The park’s layout is designed to maximize the stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains, living up to its namesake. Whether you are a seasonal traveler passing through in an RV or someone looking for an affordable permanent housing solution in Otsego County, Mountainview provides a clean, safe, and respectful environment that caters to a diverse range of needs.

Location and accessibility are among the park's greatest assets. Situated at 122 Mountain Vista Dr, Oneonta, NY 13820, the community is conveniently located just four miles west of the Southside Mall on Route 23. This strategic positioning ensures that residents have quick access to shopping, dining, and essential services while remaining tucked away from the noise of the main thoroughfares. For those traveling with larger vehicles or requiring specific accommodations, the park features a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, ensuring inclusivity for all guests. The entrance and internal road systems are designed to accommodate the steady flow of residential and visitor traffic with a strictly enforced speed limit to ensure the safety of pedestrians and children at play.

Beyond its immediate location, Mountainview sits just off Charlotte Creek, adding a touch of natural water-side charm to the property. Its proximity to the city of Oneonta means that residents are only minutes away from Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta, making it a viable option for those connected to the local academic institutions. The park serves as an excellent base for exploring the broader Delaware and Otsego County regions, known for their historic sites, hiking trails, and the world-famous National Baseball Hall of Fame in nearby Cooperstown.

Residents often remark on the kindness of their neighbors, creating a social fabric that is both supportive and respectful of privacy. Very nice and quiet trailer park. Well maintained. There are a lot of homes in it but everyone seems to be very kind and friendly. We did work on a trailer for someone in there and have absolutely no complaints. Seems like a very pleasant place to live.

The pot holes are terrible, enough to eat my whole car, feel like they get worse and worse everytime I come here, and the one time I stop by in the winter it didnt even look like plowed or salted at all. Place wouldnt be so bad if it didn't make it so you needed a new suspension everytime I visit family.

Rude management along with rude tenants and children. Had a lady scream at me one morning cuz her teenage child was standing in the center of the street waiting for the bus and i drove around him and she proclaims that i "almost hit him". Well maybe he shouldnt be in the middle of the road.
