Spanning over 500 acres of pristine woodland in Jim Thorpe, this facility offers a unique "camp and glamp" philosophy that caters to every level of outdoor enthusiast. Whether you are a traditionalist who finds joy in pitching a tent under the stars or a "glamper" who prefers the warmth of a heated log cabin with a coffee maker, this destination provides a versatile backdrop for family bonding, group retreats, and quiet solo getaways. The property has a rich history, having transitioned from a beloved YMCA camp to a modern-day sanctuary where the focus remains on preserving the natural beauty of the land while providing thoughtful, modern comforts.

The atmosphere at Pocono Camp & Glamp is one of quiet adventure and community. Many local visitors from Allentown, Philadelphia, and the surrounding regions have found that the campground offers a rare sense of peace, even while being just a short drive from the high-energy activities of downtown Jim Thorpe. The current ownership team—Pennsylvania natives themselves—has worked diligently to revive this historic acreage, ensuring that the legacy of mountain hospitality continues. From the babbling mountain streams to the expansive views of the night sky, every corner of the property is designed to help guests disconnect from their screens and reconnect with the simple pleasures of the forest.

The road system within the camp is well-maintained, allowing for easy access for RVs and trailers. A friend and I stayed 2 nights in section H cabins for a little getaway for some R&R. Despite the weather being record cold for the time of the month, we truly enjoyed our time at Pocono Camp and Glamp. The place was quiet and a beautiful area to soak up some nature and beauty. Was nice to walk around even bundled up! It was a little walk to get to restroom and would be longer of a walk to the showers and wifi wasnt great at the cabin but we didnt mind. Other then that the cabin was cozy and the chairs with a little porch was lovely! And we are looking forward to coming back soon! Thank you for such a nice little place to go, not far from home!

Me and my parents stayed at Pocono Camp & Glamp on October 31, 2025, and it was a great experience. The cabin was cozy and clean, and we spent our time relaxing and enjoying the wilderness and the beautiful view of the night sky full of stars. There was something about being there that made it both relaxing and exciting at the same time. We could just chill, but it still felt like an adventure. The camp workers were friendly and helpful. I definitely would go back. I recommend this campground to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful scenery and a relaxing, fun atmosphere.

We stayed in Section H Cabin 29. Perfect location! Steps from a hiking trail. Cleanest cabin I have ever stayed in! No spiders or creepy crawlers! Dog friendly! Bunk bed, sofa, microwave, fridge, Keurig, and TV. Flush toilets with running water steps away. Great experience!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience — Already Rebooking for Next Year! Our family loved our stay at Pocono Camping Glamp! It was such a charming and peaceful spot….way more thought out than we expected. The cabins were super clean and cozy, and it was such a bonus to have electricity, heat for winter, and the option to rent AC units for extra comfort. We stayed in Section F, which was perfect because we were right near the pickleball and volleyball courts….and let me tell you, our family spent hours out there playing. Huge hit! Each section of cabins feels secluded but still close enough to gather with other families or larger groups, which we loved. It’s perfect for reunions or group trips. The bathhouses were clean and never felt far, and exploring the other cabin areas made us even more excited to come back…we’re already planning to book again for the next 4th of July! Some extra touches we appreciated:• Mini fridge with complementary water• Microwave + Keurig with complimentary K-cups• USB charging stations built into the nightstands• Friendly, helpful staff everywhere we turnedWe’re even considering coming back in the winter since the cabins are heated…it would be perfect for a tubing or skiing weekend. Honestly, everything about our stay was thoughtful, convenient, and relaxing. Can’t wait to return! 💚

The staff were friendly and the horses were great. The horse I rode, Jake, was wonderful and sure loved ferns. The trail wasn't quite what I was hoping for but it was still a great time. I recommend a visit. The bathhouse was beautiful and clean, it actually made me want to come came here. I got the feeling this campground was relatively new, but I'd certainly visit once they add electric tent sites!
