Neebs Campground (Chris & Jeremy's) Introduce

Neebs Campground, also affectionately known by regular visitors as Chris & Jeremy's, is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Carbon County, Pennsylvania. For those seeking an authentic camping experience that prioritizes peace, quiet, and family values, this destination has become a beloved tradition for many local residents. Managed with a personal touch, the campground offers a refreshing departure from the high-traffic commercial resorts often found in the Poconos. Instead, it provides a sanctuary where the focus is on reconnecting with nature and building lasting memories with loved ones. It is the kind of place where neighbors know each other by name and the rustle of leaves is the primary soundtrack to your stay.

The atmosphere at Neebs is specifically tailored for those who value tranquility. Many long-term campers describe the grounds as a home away from home, frequently returning season after season to enjoy the steady, relaxing environment. Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway to escape the hustle of city life or a more permanent seasonal spot to enjoy the beauty of the Pennsylvania outdoors, Neebs Campground caters to a crowd that respects quiet hours and the natural landscape. Location and accessibility are key components of the Neebs Campground experience. Lehighton itself is a charming town that serves as a gateway to the Lehigh Valley and the Pocono Mountains, making it easily accessible via major Pennsylvania thoroughfares like the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike (I-476). For residents in the Lehigh Valley or those traveling from Philadelphia or the Scranton area, the drive is straightforward, allowing you to transition from the highway to the woods in a matter of minutes.

The historic town of Jim Thorpe, known for its Victorian architecture and scenic railway, is just a short drive away. Additionally, outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to the Lehigh Gorge State Park and Beltzville State Park, where boating, hiking, and fishing opportunities abound. The local area also features essential amenities such as grocery stores, local diners, and supply shops, ensuring that even the most rustic camping trip is supported by the conveniences of a nearby town. The entrance to the campground is easily navigable for most standard vehicles and smaller campers, leading into a well-organized layout of sites.
