Customer Reviews
My family and I stayed in the family cabin over the summer time. It was a fantastic cottage/cabin and the entire campground was wonderful. The woman at the check in was extremely informative and helped me to find places to eat and the best routes to get to our preplanned destinations. The cabin itself was extremely clean and the beds were actually pretty comfortable! There was plenty of room for my wife, myself, two kids, and our dog.We would absolutely recommend this campground to anyone and I would definitely return again.
Stayed just one night at Potter County Family campground. We chose this location because it was close to Cherry Springs State Park and we wanted to do some stargazing. The campground was very nice. The space I got was so level, I didn't need to do any leveling on my class C RV. Just pulled in, put out the slides, hooked up water and electric and was good to go. I don't have an ATV, but it seems like this campground must be close to off road trails and seems to cater to the ATV community. Makes me want to go out and buy an ATV. Looks like a lot of fun! ;-)
Good atmosphere. Very welcoming to family outing. Close to Lyman Run and Cherry springs. Four wheeler friendly. Great company for late night friendship making outings. Good people. Family owned. Support the little people... Bathrooms and bath houses close by.
Been going every year since 2016 and i can't give 5 Star because there needs to be better up keep here , some the camper sites are swampy , they did improve it some vs last year though i noticed , the bathrooms aren't always the cleanest but I know it rains there all the time so it would be hard plus muddy riders don't help..Biggest bathroom complaint is the Ceiling exhaust fans in showers , its so wet there all time so humidity is almost always above 75% , see it above 85% alot so the showers get so muggy and the exhaust fans aren't doing much to help the problem , you get done showering most times I have to carefully open door and fan the door just to get some the humidity out or I get soaked sweating just standing there and outside temp is usually on cooler side so it's not sweating from excessive heat , it's the humidity , better exhaust fans would help this.. The one shower house closest to check in office the shower knob would fall off if not careful and wouldn't feel gd if it landed on a toe , especially a younger kid..As far as the employees/workers there we've never had any issues there and they don't rush you out on Sundays if no one coming in that day. Very layed back campground..Not fussy with type of campers , trailers.
July 24 camping large sites with full hookups mostly shaded. Bathrooms & showers are OK plus a limited camp store. No pool or activities as far as we could tell. As stated in other reviews this is popular with ATV riders with many riders that were responsible and drove slowly thru camp. Overall a good value close to nature.
