I was considering one of the homes for sale in this community until I saw the lot rent. Almost $1000!? I’d love to know what merits such a ridiculous cost? From pictures on Google this community doesn’t look much different than the community that I used to live in. Although I would say that location wise, my previous community is quieter and surrounded by forest. It is still convenient to shops and restaurants and what not. But it has the feeling of true forested suburbia. The lot rent there started out in the $400s and now it’s in the low $500s. It has a pool, tennis courts, mail room, a basketball court, maintenance for the grounds(snow plowing, tree removal as needed, etc) and is now a cooperative. Everybody has a yard and there’s plenty of trees. Nobody is stacked on top of each other. Everyone has some space and privacy. So why then should anybody pay the exorbitant prices at your community? It’s crazy to me. Not trying to be negative but it’s just shocking to me. I’ve grown up in Vermont and I am looking to move back to Connecticut, but am also looking at lower New York state near Connecticut.

I lived in the park for 20 yrs now it’s totally horrible. Now it’s a summer camp with 4 wheel motor bikes 🏍. My neighbor took it upon herself to make a motor track on the other property. Now we have outsiders coming with truck loads of motor vehicles. The noise is unbearable and the fumes r toxic in back of my house. Managment still has not addressed this. Not a safe place to live. Me and my husband pay over $900 in lot fees. Why do I have to call the police this is your property

Christina the Manager is not only professional but is concerned about the people who live in Silver Streams! Regardless of her employment title whether Manager, Executive, Administrator..the most important "hat she wears if you will" is that we are not considered merely a LOT NUMBER similar to our mobile homes! She should be additionally compensated for her genuine efforts and accommodations since and ongoing with regards to this pandemic! She is an asset to the Company and should be acknowledged for not just doing what is required but above & beyond her employers as well as the community's expectations! My mom lives there.Homes are to close together, no privacy. But that means more money for the park owners.
