When considering whether Stockham's Village is worth choosing, local residents often weigh the benefit of its competitive lot rent against the desire for a quiet, small-town lifestyle. It is worth choosing for those who seek a budget-friendly entry into the New Oxford housing market, particularly for those who already own a manufactured home and are looking for a community with established utilities. The village offers a "turn-key" potential for many buyers, as several homes on the property have undergone significant remodels, including new flooring, roofing, and modern appliances.
Furthermore, the value of being located in the heart of Adams County cannot be understated. Residents are minutes away from the antique markets of New Oxford and the historical grandeur of Gettysburg. For those who prioritize a home that allows for personalization—such as the ability to add a porch or maintain a private garden—Stockham's Village provides more flexibility than many high-density apartment complexes. Used to be a beautiful place and quiet to live here now it's turning into what others call trailer trash. Some people are very loud with their music and very disrespectful and the quality that people keep their places has gone down tremendously. They want to keep raising the rent every year but we may as not even have a lease cause nobody wants to uphold it.dont waste your time coming here if you want peace and quality.
It's a nice trailer park until some people ruin it for others. The Mexicans get too loud at times and they don't have any respect!!!!!
