The hallmark of the Tri-State RV Park experience is its stunning riverside setting. Situated directly along the banks of the Delaware River, the park allows guests to enjoy the calming sounds of flowing water and the picturesque views that define the region. The landscape is level and open, making it exceptionally easy for drivers of large rigs to navigate and park without the stress of tight turns or uneven terrain. While the proximity to major transit routes is a highlight for accessibility, the natural backdrop ensures that the spirit of the great outdoors is never lost. It is a place where the functionality of a well-maintained campground meets the serene aesthetics of the Pennsylvania wilderness.

Location and accessibility are among the strongest suits of Tri-State RV Park. Situated at 401 Shay Lane in Matamoras, the park is positioned perfectly for those traveling along Interstate 84. It is often described by visitors as a "quick on-and-off" spot, located right at the junction where Pennsylvania meets the New York border. This strategic positioning makes it an ideal choice for travelers who want to avoid long detours through winding backroads. Accessibility is further enhanced by the park's commitment to inclusivity, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible parking lot. This ensures that all guests, regardless of mobility needs, can enjoy the facilities and the natural surroundings with ease. The ease of entry and exit from the highway makes it a top choice for those who value efficiency in their travel itinerary.

Choosing the right place to park your RV can make or break a road trip, and Tri-State RV Park offers several compelling reasons why it is worth choosing over other options in the area. The first is the sheer convenience of its location. For travelers moving between Pennsylvania and New England or upstate New York, the time saved by staying at a location so close to the highway is invaluable. While the proximity to the interstate means there is some ambient road noise, many guests find that the convenience far outweighs this factor, and the peaceful presence of the Delaware River provides a natural balance that helps guests sleep soundly.

Furthermore, the park is worth choosing for its commitment to providing essential services at a high standard. In a world where many campgrounds add expensive "resort" features that go unused, Tri-State focuses on the core needs: power, water, sewer, and propane. This "no-nonsense" approach results in super reasonable prices that appeal to budget-conscious travelers and those who simply appreciate good value. The friendliness of the owners and staff adds a personal touch that you won't find at larger, corporate-run facilities. They handle every request with a smile, ensuring that whether you are just stopping for propane and a dump station or staying for the night, you feel like a valued guest. The combination of easy access, essential services, riverfront views, and genuine hospitality makes Tri-State RV Park a top-tier choice for anyone traveling through Matamoras, Pennsylvania.

This is a really awesome spot. It’s right on the Delaware river and a quick on off from Route 84 right at the Pennsylvania New York border. We needed propane, water and a dump station. They had it all with a smile… Everything we wanted and nothing we didn’t. Super reasonable prices and very friendly and professional staff. Don’t hesitate to stop here. I would gladly stay overnight. Even though it’s near the highway it’s not really that noisy and the river is very peaceful.

It's very, very loud. Come expecting that. It's super convenient. Directly off the highway. Our cat kept hiding thinking we were still on the road. She got used to it. So did we, and we slept hard after a long day. It's level, open and easy. Owner is super nice. The Delaware River is behind. Would/ will stay again. Bring some ear plugs.

I had the pleasure of staying here a couple weeks ago (August 2025). I found this to be a very nice park after a long day of driving. This area along I-84 I sometimes consider an RV park desert, and difficult to find a place to say between New England and Scranton, PA. This facility was easy on easy off I-84. The staff were very nice, and even called to verify my reservation, that I didn't even have to pay an upfront deposit for! Facilities were very clean, Sites were clean and easy to get into. They even escorted me to my site! Yes you can stay overnight in the welcome center nearby, but why would you pass up a secure location where you can put your slides out, have electricity. I will be staying here again when I make my trips back and forth to new England again!

This was the absolute best campground. Very friendly people who became like family to us. I honestly wish I could have lived here forever. They were amazing. Bail scenery. Delaware River view. Beautiful lodge for weddings and venues of all sorts. They keep your mail safe. They treat you with dignity and I will forever miss this place. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Tri-State RV Park was a solid overnight stop right off the highway. The sites were easy to access and level, and the park was quiet enough and peaceful. The owners were friendly and check-in was a breeze. It’s a simple park, but very convenient for travelers passing through the area.
