When deciding where to spend your summer leisure time in the North Country, Wilson's Hyde Lake Campsites is worth choosing for its exceptional value and community spirit. In an era where many campgrounds are becoming increasingly expensive and corporate, Wilson's remains a bastion of the traditional family camping experience. It is particularly worth choosing if you have grandchildren or young children; the combination of a safe playground, easy swimming access, and friendly neighbors creates the kind of summer memories that last a lifetime.
Furthermore, the park is worth choosing because of the quality of Hyde Lake itself. Because the lake has a 10-horsepower limit on motorboats, you won't deal with the loud jet skis or massive wakes found on the St. Lawrence River. This makes it a haven for kayakers, canoers, and those who enjoy peaceful fishing. The cleanliness of the facilities and the prompt attention of the owners ensure that your only job while staying there is to relax. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape from Syracuse or a permanent seasonal spot for your camper, Wilson's Hyde Lake Campsites provides a high-quality, authentic Adirondack-fringe experience at a price that is hard to beat.

This is our first time ever coming to Wilson's camping site. I love it here. People are kind, it's clean, and if you have a problem, the owner is there quickly. It's so quiet and peaceful. My grandkids love it here. The swimming and the fishing, and the small playground. It's just perfect, and you can't beat the price .
Was this campground ever called "The Big T"? I grew up camping there in the summers about 35+ years ago. I was wondering if this was the same place. If it's not, any information would be greatly appreciated.
Well managed and very relaxing. A wonderful place to do nothing or fish and swim and cook out and have a cold one!
My grandpa owns it so I make sure people think it is as beautiful as possible.
Quiet & camper friendly .
