Autumn Hills Camp Introduce

For those of us living in the Granite State, the call of the great outdoors is never far away. Autumn Hills Camp, located in the scenic town of Weare, New Hampshire, serves as a quintessential destination for residents looking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of our region. This campground is designed to offer a balance between a peaceful woodland retreat and an active family environment. Whether you are a seasoned RVer or a family looking for a weekend under the stars, Autumn Hills Camp provides a well-maintained setting that reflects the rugged yet welcoming spirit of New Hampshire.

The campground is recognized by locals as a versatile outdoor space that caters to various camping preferences. It is a place where community spirit is often on display through themed weekends and organized activities. From the moment you pull into the grounds, the focus on maintaining a clean and friendly environment is evident. The staff is known for being helpful to local visitors, ensuring that everyone from first-time campers to regular seasonal guests feels at home. The atmosphere ranges from serene and quiet to vibrant and energetic, depending on the scheduled events and the time of year you choose to visit.

One of the defining characteristics of Autumn Hills Camp is its commitment to creating a space where families can build memories. The grounds are thoughtfully laid out to include both private, wooded areas and communal spaces where children can play and neighbors can socialize. For New Hampshire residents seeking a "staycation" that feels worlds away from the daily grind, this local campground offers the perfect backdrop for relaxation, outdoor recreation, and genuine connection with nature.

Location and accessibility are major advantages for those traveling within the state. Situated at 285 S Stark Hwy in Weare, the camp is easily reached via major local routes, making it a convenient choice for a quick weekend getaway. The management has made significant efforts to ensure the facility is inclusive for all guests. The campground features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, ensuring a smooth arrival for all vehicles and guests. Furthermore, the accessibility extends to the core infrastructure of the park, including designated wheelchair-accessible parking lots and restrooms, making it a comfortable destination for campers with mobility considerations.

The terrain at Autumn Hills is notably hilly, which adds to the authentic New Hampshire forest aesthetic. While this provides excellent views and a sense of privacy between tiers of campsites, it is a detail local users should keep in mind when packing. To assist with the elevation changes, many guests find it beneficial to utilize on-site options for getting around the property easily. Despite the hills, the paths are well-marked, leading guests toward the various amenities and natural features that make the property unique.

Autumn Hills Camp offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the needs of modern campers. The focus is on providing a functional and comfortable experience without losing the rustic charm of a New Hampshire forest setting. The onsite services are designed to minimize the need for campers to leave the grounds for basic necessities, allowing for a more immersive outdoor experience.

  • Full RV camping accommodations with dedicated sites for various trailer and motorhome sizes.

What is worth choosing when it comes to Autumn Hills Camp? For many local users, the choice comes down to the "hidden gem" quality of the location. While New Hampshire has many large-scale commercial campgrounds, Autumn Hills maintains a more personal feel. The sites, particularly in the T-section (such as T12), are noted for being large and private, offering the kind of secluded atmosphere that many campers crave. Having a site that feels like your own corner of the woods while still being close to a clean restroom is a significant luxury in the world of camping.

The themed weekends are another major draw. For those who enjoy a lively atmosphere, these events bring the community together and provide built-in entertainment for the kids. However, it is worth noting for local visitors that some weekends can be much louder than others, especially when live bands are part of the schedule. If you are looking for a completely silent retreat, checking the event calendar beforehand is a wise move. For those who enjoy high-energy afternoons followed by respectful quiet hours at night, the balance here is often just right.

Furthermore, the camp’s investment in accessibility and pet-friendly infrastructure makes it a highly inclusive choice. The presence of a dog park means your pets have a destination of their own, which isn't always a guarantee at every NH campground. The combination of clean facilities, friendly management, and a variety of activities—from swimming and hiking to attending a rock concert in the woods—makes Autumn Hills Camp a versatile and valuable part of the Weare community. It remains a top choice for those who want an authentic, well-supported New Hampshire camping experience that caters to all members of the family, including the four-legged ones.

In conclusion, Autumn Hills Camp represents the diverse nature of New Hampshire's outdoor hospitality. It offers the chance to engage with the landscape through hiking and outdoor play, while providing the modern conveniences of RV hookups and accessible facilities. For locals in the Weare area and beyond, it stands as a reliable and enjoyable destination for creating lasting summer memories in the heart of our beautiful state.

Hidden Gem- A wonderful stay at Autumn Hill Campground! The entire campground- including the bathrooms, beach and pool area- was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering all our questions with a smile. We stayed on site T12, which was large, private and conveniently located near a bathroom. The campground is a bit hilly so renting a golf cart made it easy to get around and added to the fun. Quiet hours were respected , and it was clear that the other campers were enjoying themselves to. We loved the relaxing atmosphere, appreciated the small on site camp store and the fun themed weekends they offer.Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway or a family friendly camping trip. Autumn Hill Campground is definitely worth a visit.

Are you kidding me? Nice enough campground. But whose idea was it to bring in a full rock band right next to a bunch of camp sites? This isn't even the pavilion, so we had no way of knowing to avoid it when we booked. Currently trying to soothe three very cranky children on what was supposed to be a calming family get away.Yes, quiet hours are 11pm. But who reasonably books a camping trip expecting to be back stage to a rock concert right up until the very last minute?Never coming back here again.

Extremely disappointed. Im awake at midnight right now because of how loud it is. There's a band next to the campsites playing music all night loudly, drinking, cursing. NOT Family friendly, NOT quiet, NOT at all what the reviews said. For a get away I so badly wanted, I just want to cry.
