Dix Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those navigating the housing and travel landscape of Washington County, Dix Mobile Home Park represents a long-standing fixture in the Hudson Falls community. As a professional content writer focused on the New York region, it is important to provide an objective look at this establishment from the perspective of a local user. Established in 1968, the park has served as a primary source of affordable housing and mobile accommodation for several decades. Located on the bustling Dix Avenue, it sits at the crossroads of suburban convenience and the rural beauty that defines Upstate New York. While the property primarily caters to permanent manufactured housing, its classification and history within the local zoning often make it a point of inquiry for those seeking RV-style living and affordable lot rentals in the Glens Falls metropolitan area.
Living or staying in the Hudson Falls area offers a unique New York experience that balances small-town familiarity with access to world-class recreation. Dix Mobile Home Park is situated in a region characterized by its proximity to the Hudson River and the southeastern gateway of the Adirondack Mountains. For many local residents, the park provides an essential utility—a place to call home that remains accessible within a competitive real estate market. The park’s layout is straightforward, consisting of a single-story community with roughly 90 units, designed for those who prefer the independence of a detached residence without the high overhead costs of traditional single-family homes in neighboring Saratoga or Warren counties.
Location and accessibility are significant factors for anyone considering Dix Mobile Home Park. Situated at 1028 Dix Ave, Hudson Falls, NY 12839, the park is positioned on a major local thoroughfare that connects the Village of Hudson Falls directly to the City of Glens Falls. This prime location means that residents are just minutes away from essential regional hubs. For example, SUNY Adirondack is located only five miles away, making it a viable option for students or staff looking for nearby housing. Furthermore, Glens Falls Hospital is within a three-mile radius, ensuring that medical care is easily reachable. The park is also served by the Hudson Falls Central School District, with primary and middle schools located within a short drive, which is a key consideration for families in the area.
From a broader New York perspective, the park is highly accessible for those traveling with larger vehicles or mobile units. It sits near the intersection of several key routes, and the Fort Edward Amtrak station is approximately 11 minutes away, providing a rail link to New York City and Montreal. For outdoor enthusiasts, the location serves as a strategic base camp. Moreau Lake State Park is a 22-minute drive, offering thousands of acres of hiking, swimming, and camping. Additionally, the famous Lake George region is just to the north, providing residents with easy access to one of the state's most popular vacation destinations while allowing them to reside in a more quiet, residential setting.

If I could put zero stars I would! Unfortunately been here 7 years. Brand new owner a couple months ago and she is horrible! Cannot pay my rent because she is blocking my payments on the rent app. Emailed her physical proof and is blaming me for it not working! I don’t have control over the system she does! Have had multiple sewer issues and does nothing about them! Just once again blames the tenant and then tries to charge them for the bill. Working on leaving as soon as possible. Living here was ok about 3-4 years ago now with new owner that lives towards the city it’s gotten worse!!! Slumlord!!!!
