emerson village & campground Introduce
For residents of New Hampshire seeking a serene and meticulously maintained retreat, Emerson Village & Campground stands as a distinguished landmark in the heart of Rockingham County. This unique property combines a vibrant 55+ active adult mobile home community with a specialized seasonal RV park, offering a peaceful atmosphere that is often described as a picture-postcard setting. Nestled on 78 acres of lush, mature landscaping and historic farmland that has been in the Emerson family since 1741, the park provides an environment that feels like a quiet suburban neighborhood rather than a typical campground.
The facility is designed specifically for those who appreciate order, tranquility, and a high standard of living. As an adult-oriented community, it caters to individuals looking for a quiet place to call home for a season or a lifetime. The grounds are kept in pristine condition, with paved roads and manicured lawns that reflect the pride of ownership and management. Whether you are looking for a seasonal camping spot to escape the summer heat or a long-term community with likeminded neighbors, Emerson Village offers a blend of historic charm and modern convenience that is rare in the Southern New Hampshire region.
Location and Accessibility
Located at 24 Amy Lane in the historic town of Hampstead, NH, the park is perfectly positioned for both local convenience and regional exploration. Residents and guests are just a short drive away from three of the area’s beautiful bodies of water: Island Pond, Angle Pond, and Wash Pond (Sunset Lake). The town of Hampstead itself is rich in New England history and offers a charming backdrop for daily life. For those looking to venture further, the park is situated approximately 45 miles north of Boston and just 20 miles from the New Hampshire seacoast, making it an ideal central hub.
Accessibility is a priority at Emerson Village. The facility features a wheelchair-accessible entrance and dedicated wheelchair-accessible parking lots, ensuring that all residents and visitors can navigate the common areas with ease. The neighborhood streets within the park are paved and level, providing a safe and accessible environment for walking, biking, or driving. What is worth choosing
When considering a stay or a move to Emerson Village, it is well worth choosing the "seasonal" approach to camping. Unlike many parks that cater to weekend travelers, the 26 sites here are designed for a full season of enjoyment. This allows you to truly integrate into the community, form lasting friendships with neighbors, and make full use of the premium amenities like the heated pool and the social hall. The 4-way hookups with 50-amp service make it easy to maintain a modern RV lifestyle without compromise.
For those looking for a permanent residence, choosing a home within the mobile home park section offers a level of maintenance and community standards that is rarely found elsewhere. The inclusion of lawn care in the association fees is a standout feature that is worth every penny, as it ensures the entire neighborhood remains in pristine condition without the individual burden of heavy yard work. Furthermore, the commitment to the 55+ age restriction is worth choosing for those who prioritize a quiet, stable environment where the rules are clearly defined and fairly enforced to benefit all residents. Whether you are fishing by the pond or attending a function in the recreation hall, the sense of security and community at Emerson Village makes it a premier choice for New Hampshire locals.

Customer Reviews
I have been to many mobile home parks, especially in the past month or so searching for a home for my clients. When I showed them this park, they knew they didn't want to be anywhere else, even if it meant waiting for a property to become available to buy. This community is very sought after and I can see why. The grounds are kept up impeccably. They offer very affordable services to assist owners in maintaining their yards, which benefits all residents. Lawn care services included in the association fee I have never seen before. What a great idea and service! Yes, there are many rules, but they are all in place and enforced to keep the community as it is and as it should be. If someone is looking to entertain their grandchildren when they visit, there are town beaches that are easily accessible and VERY close by. It is a 55+ community. The pool area, club house, and neighborhood is in its pristine condition because they keep it for just their residents. The office manager, Jamie, has been VERY helpful in getting all the necessary paperwork and procedures required to get my clients accepted and moved in to their new home as quickly as possible. I can not say enough good things about this Park. My clients, who are close friends, are very grateful to be welcomed into this community.
This park is extremely well run and maintained. Good fences make for good neighbors and the rules they have in place are to protect all residents lifestyles. I saw some poor reviews and none of them had anything to do with the park and everything to do with them not liking the rules. We own another house in Sarasota, Fl in a similar park and Emerson Village is far and away better on every front.
This place awful!!! It's over 55 community and if you have grandchildren they can't use pool which crazy, also you can't have anyone move in with either so even though you own home and renting the Land they control what goes on in your home which is out of control. They are completely nuts they tell you how to trim your bushes, so many rules that are just out there as if you are their children and not renting the Land!!! It's grass pple not hold!!! Also camping area is just as ridiculous, I would not recommend!!!!
Mom and dad have an RV there on the man made pond . Its so relaxing !!! Lots of do's and don'ts as far as rules for grounds .. but guess that's why its it's quite. Lol
beautiful rolling land with spaced out sites. freindly staff.
