Gibson | A Medallion Community Introduce
For those seeking an affordable yet high-quality lifestyle in the heart of Virginia’s most historic region, Gibson | A Medallion Community offers a compelling solution. Located in Williamsburg, this mobile home park has established itself as a cornerstone for residents who value a peaceful, tree-lined environment without sacrificing the conveniences of modern living. As a Medallion Community, Gibson benefits from a professional management philosophy that prioritizes neighborhood aesthetics, resident safety, and a welcoming atmosphere for individuals and families alike. In a city where housing costs can often be prohibitive, this community provides a pathway to homeownership and stability for a diverse range of Virginia residents.
The community has undergone significant improvements under new ownership, focusing on creating a family-oriented environment. Local residents frequently praise the shift toward stricter rule enforcement, which has led to a noticeable increase in neighborhood pride and the removal of disruptive elements. This professional oversight ensures that the streets remain quiet and the common areas stay clean, making it a preferred choice for long-term residents. Whether you are a young professional, a growing family, or a retiree looking to downsize in the Williamsburg area, Gibson offers a sense of belonging that is often missing from larger, more impersonal apartment complexes.
Location and accessibility are among the strongest attributes of Gibson | A Medallion Community. Situated at 125 Burgess St, Williamsburg, VA 23185, the park is perfectly positioned for both local commuters and those who enjoy the recreational offerings of the Peninsula. The community is just minutes away from Interstate 64, providing a direct link to Newport News, Hampton, and Richmond. For those working within Williamsburg, the park offers easy access to major employers, including the College of William & Mary and the various colonial heritage sites. Furthermore, the property features wheelchair-accessible parking, ensuring that the community remains inclusive and reachable for all visitors and residents.
Living in Williamsburg means being surrounded by history and entertainment, and Gibson residents are at the center of it all. The park serves as an ideal base for day trips to Virginia Beach or Washington D.C., while local gems like Busch Gardens and Water Country USA are essentially in your backyard. This strategic location allows residents to enjoy a quiet residential life during the week while having world-class shopping, dining, and historical explorations available at a moment's notice on the weekends.

What is worth choosing about Gibson | A Medallion Community is the peace of mind that comes with professional management. In many mobile home parks, management can be distant or inconsistent; however, Gibson stands out because of its staff's hands-on approach. Residents who have lived there for over 15 years have noted the drastic improvements in quality of life since Medallion took over. It is worth choosing because it filters out "troublemakers" through consistent rule enforcement, creating a safe haven for those who simply want a quiet place to call home.

Customer Reviews
I’ve lived in heritage for many many years and have watched management change. The new property manager and staff we have now is amazing! From the office to the maintenance man that helps out! Always friendly and available and quick to address any concerns in the community. She is very friendly to the tenants and I’ve seen her literally working day and night keeping the neighborhood nice 😊 I love living here not to mention it’s in a great location!!Now to address a review I saw posted from another person calling the landlord a racist, are you serious?! There is not a racist bone in that woman’s body!! I’ve never heard her say or do anything that she would be called that! For goodness sakes there are so many minorities that live in this neighborhood not to mention she has a black man that works in the office with her!! Seriously if you are not happy then leave! That is so absurd!
Have lived here for 15 years. This place has improved greatly since the new ownership took over. All the bad tenants like Elena are finally getting fined for breaking park rules. Before the rules weren’t enforced and it allowed for poor tenants to treat their neighbors like trash. Those days are gone. We are a friendly family oriented community. If you’re a trouble maker, we don’t want you here. Love the new management team and all they do for our community.
They turn the water off every other day for some reason or another. Some people are loud all times if the night. Property manager was drunk again and riding around the park yelling at people again. Smfh she didn't yell for a change but still drinking and driving around harassing people.
This place is awesome! Is really clean and Quiet. The administration is doing a great job.
