Hershey Conewago Campground is worth choosing because it strikes a rare balance between convenience and serenity. While many campgrounds near major theme parks can feel cramped or industrial, this park retains its rural soul. It provides the essential amenities of a modern RV park—like immaculate bathrooms and high-speed Wi-Fi—without losing the "great outdoors" feel that brings people to camping in the first place.
The combination of the informative and friendly staff, the proximity to Hershey's attractions, and the well-maintained facilities makes it a standout choice in the Elizabethtown area. Whether you are there for the chocolate, the rollercoasters, or the peaceful view of the pond, you will find that the value offered here far exceeds the simple cost of a camping fee. It is a place built on the idea that a vacation should be both exciting and restorative, making it a favorite for many Pennsylvania families year after year.

Great campground. Convenient to Hershey Park but rural enough for camping. Grate vibes and staff is informative on lots of extras and vendors coming in. Staff is absolutely wonderful
The cabin was great, the view and location of it was wonderful. We had 2 families in 2 cabins. All of us really enjoyed feeding the fish in the pond, we bought a loaf of bread just for them! The ice cream and coffee in the camp store were fresh. Dave was super helpful with everything from reservations to what chocolate tour to take, to making us coffee, and he was so very nice. Bathrooms were good enough. This is not the ritz, it is an older campground, but we really enjoyed it and will be back.
Very nice campground, just wish the roads were treated with something to keep the dust down, can't move without the dusty air gets all over everything. But a great place for camping,
Not sure what everyone is complaining about. This isn't Vegas and not every campground is a five star. The owner was so nice to. Us. We arrived late Friday and the kids wanted to hit the park before it closed. I went to hook up the power and realized I didn't have the right adapter. The owner told us to go to the park and he'd take care of it. We got back from the park and the right adapter was hanging on my camper door. He ran to Walmart for us. What a great gesture. Campground was clean and that's what's important to me. I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to stay here.Matt Breon
Took a Last minute trip to Hershey park, all of the "major" campgrounds were booked; they had a spot available & for what we did this weekend, this campground was perfect! We have a travel trailer so we just wanted full hookup since we had plans to be at H.P. Now, campground is very old but from what we saw it was clean... Sites are large & the pool was clean ...quietest campground we've ever been too...Workers were very helpful... IF you're looking for the campground that is busy, activities for kids, up-to-date environment/equipment this campground isn't for you, keep looking BUT, if you're like us, looking for some place to lay your head then this works!
