Holly Lake Campsites Introduce

For outdoor enthusiasts and families in the Delaware region, Holly Lake Campsites serves as a premier destination for experiencing the natural beauty of the First State. Spanning over 500 acres of picturesque woodlands and wetlands, this family-owned and operated campground has been a staple of the Millsboro community for years. It offers a unique escape where the rustle of pine needles and the quiet of the forest meet the excitement of Delaware’s coastal attractions. Whether you are a seasoned RVer or a traditional tent camper, Holly Lake provides a spacious and scenic environment designed to help you disconnect from the daily grind and reconnect with the great outdoors.

The campground is known for its welcoming, "down-to-earth" atmosphere, making it a favorite for both transient travelers and long-term seasonal residents. Many visitors find themselves returning year after year, drawn by the expansive grounds and the variety of recreational opportunities available on-site. The property is meticulously managed to maintain a balance between modern convenience and rustic charm, ensuring that while you are deep in the woods, you are never far from the amenities that make a camping trip comfortable and enjoyable. For locals looking for a reliable and friendly home base near the coast, Holly Lake Campsites stands out as a top-tier choice.

Holly Lake Campsites is conveniently located at 32087 Holly Lake Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966, USA. Its position is strategically ideal for those who want to enjoy Delaware's famous beaches without being caught in the middle of the high-traffic resort zones. The campground is situated just 9 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and the Delaware Bay, placing the vibrant boardwalks of Rehoboth Beach and the historic charm of Lewes within a short 15-to-20-minute drive. This allows guests to spend their days sunbathing or outlet shopping and their evenings retreating to the quiet, wooded serenity of their campsite.

Accessibility is a major advantage for this location. It is easily reachable via major Delaware thoroughfares like Route 1 and Route 113. When choosing a campground in the Delaware region, Holly Lake Campsites is worth selecting because it offers a "best of both worlds" experience. You get the authentic feeling of camping in a dense, quiet forest while remaining incredibly close to the premier beach destinations of the East Coast. While other campgrounds can feel like open parking lots, Holly Lake’s commitment to preserving its 500 acres of trees and wetlands ensures that every site feels like a private slice of nature. The recent investments in the camp store and grill further demonstrate a commitment to guest comfort and modern standards.

The community aspect is another significant factor. Reviews from long-term residents highlight a safe and friendly environment where neighbors look out for one another. Whether you are enjoying a quiet night by the fire pit or participating in a lively pool party, the atmosphere is inclusive and welcoming. For families, the sheer volume of activities—from the petting zoo to the splash pad—means that the children are always engaged, allowing parents to truly relax. If you are looking for a well-rounded, affordable, and scenic outdoor getaway in Sussex County, Holly Lake Campsites is undoubtedly the right choice for your next adventure.

This campground is our new favorite place to camp. The campsite fees are very reasonable. We visited last year and really enjoyed our campsite. We enjoyed it so much we were there this past weekend, it was very busy but quiet enough to be enjoyable at the same time.

Bathhouse disgusting! DIRTY/FILTHY Campsite had a large group of people doing karaoke with microphone and speaker. Can you imagine being near them and listening to that!Stayed in a cabin because of AC which worked great, but the mini fridge was rusted inwhich If it was mine I would of gotten rid of it a long time ago.
