Located in the scenic western foothills of the state, it serves as a vibrant hub where children can interact with beloved characters like Yogi Bear™, Boo Boo™, and Cindy Bear™, while adults enjoy a variety of recreational and relaxation opportunities. Whether you are staying in a luxury cabin, a motorhome, or a traditional tent, the park provides an immersive environment where family fun is the primary attraction.
For Maryland residents and visitors alike, Jellystone Park™ Williamsport stands out as a top-tier choice for seasonal vacations. The park has received numerous accolades for its cleanliness, activities, and guest services, making it a "must-visit" for anyone exploring the Mid-Atlantic region. Beyond its famous water-based attractions, the campground fosters a festive, community-driven atmosphere with themed weekends—ranging from Halloween spooks to Christmas in July—that keep the experience fresh and engaging for repeat visitors. It is not just a place to park an RV; it is a meticulously managed resort where every detail is tailored to create lasting family memories.
Location and accessibility are among the park's greatest logistical strengths. Situated at 9550 Jellystone Pk Wy, Williamsport, MD 21795, the campground is conveniently located along the I-81 and I-70 corridors. This strategic positioning makes it an easy drive for residents of Baltimore and Washington D.C., both of which are approximately 90 minutes away. For those interested in regional history and nature, the park serves as an ideal "home base." It is just a short drive from the historic Antietam National Battlefield and the scenic Appalachian Trail, allowing guests to balance their resort-style fun with educational excursions and rigorous hikes through the Maryland countryside.
The facility is designed with modern accessibility standards in mind. Guests will find a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a thoughtfully laid out parking lot with designated accessible spaces. The comfort stations and public restrooms throughout the park are also wheelchair-accessible, ensuring that all family members can enjoy the grounds comfortably. For those navigating the resort with large RVs or trailers, the park features wide paved roads and level sites, including spacious pull-through options that make arrivals and departures seamless even for the most substantial rigs.

What is worth choosing at Jellystone Park™ Williamsport is the sheer variety of ways you can customize your stay. For those who want the comforts of home, the Pine Forest and Luxury Cottages are highly recommended. These units are fully climate-controlled and feature full bathrooms, kitchens, and screened-in porches, providing a "glamping" experience that eliminates the stress of traditional tent camping. Choosing a pull-through RV site near the Water Zone is also worth it for families with younger children, as it puts you in the center of the action and minimizes travel time between your site and the main attractions.
Furthermore, the park is worth choosing for its professional "Fun Pass" system. For a single price, the pass grants access to a bundle of the park's best activities—including laser tag, gem mining, and tie-dye crafts—offering significant savings for active families. Whether you are visiting in July to escape the heat in the water park or in October to experience the "Fantastic Halloween" events, Jellystone Park™ Williamsport provides a consistent, high-energy, and safe environment. It is a place that understands that a great vacation is built on small details, from the friendly "Hey Hey Hey" wagon rides to the perfectly level campsites. Choosing this resort means choosing a vacation where the schedule is full, the memories are plenty, and the hospitality is as big as Yogi Bear™ himself.

We stayed here for several days in July. The site was nice and flat, large enough for a big tent. Water and electric were conveniently located. The private bathrooms/showers looked like they were recently renovated, but in the sweltering summer heat they had very little air circulation and felt like humid steam room hot boxes. The waterpark was fun but they were only running one slide at a time, which made for a long line. Most of the interactive features of the lazy river were disabled, but the giant water cannon was so cool. The splash pad section is VERY cool. Some of the lifeguards had a bad attitude and were quite rude. The activities and crafts, character meet ups, tractor ride and laser tag were fun. Most of the staff were very friendly.Overall this was a very nice campground and we really enjoyed it!
The location of the campground was great! Our family enjoyed the water park and cruising around the grounds on a golf cart. We arrived on firework night, and it was a great show!A major setback to our experience was the cabin. The mattress that was in the main room was so uncomfortable. You could feel every spring and the mattress was sunken in a good amount. My husband and I woke in pain throughout each night. The bathroom was another issue. While I understand this is camping, I don't think the bathroom floorShould have black mold. We felt it necessary to cover our feet while indoors, otherwise the bottom of our feet would be disgusting.Upon reaching out after our visit, the campground wasn't much help. They apologized, however, offered no compensation.
First time here. Park seems to be on the older side and could use some updating. Kids enjoyed themselves. Stayed in a cabin. It was adequate but could have been a little cleaner. Rented a cabana for a day. Nice to get out of the sun but not worth the cost. The cabana definitely lacked on cleanliness. Disappointed with canteen. Placed an order that they somehow forgot about. Over 20 minutes to get our order and they were not busy. Kudos to the staff as they promptly and appropriately handled some kids that tried to take my son’s bike. They don’t tolerate nonsense. Would stay again.
We love visiting for Labor Day Weekend. We really appreciate the young people who make all of the activities happen from daily crafts to nighttime karaoke. They are organized, kind, and attentive. The character moments are cherished. We particularly like the pledge and stretches with a bear. The only low point this time around was the very dirty microwave and debris on mattresses. We cleaned up these spots and kept on with the fun.
So much for the kids to do there! It's secluded but also centrally located. Walmart delivers there in case you forgot anything! RV sites are clean and spacious! Bathrooms could use a little work, but we went during Labor Day weekend, so we're going to give them some slack there due to it being a busy holiday! 11/10 would recommend!
