Meadowbrook Mobile Park Introduce

Meadowbrook Mobile Park represents a unique and highly sought-after living option for those seeking an affordable, community-oriented lifestyle in the heart of MetroWest Massachusetts. Established as a resident-owned manufactured home community, Meadowbrook is specifically designed for active adults aged 55 and over who value independence alongside a supportive neighborhood environment. Unlike traditional commercially owned parks, Meadowbrook is operated by a Homeowners Association, meaning residents have a direct voice in the management, budgeting, and future improvements of their community. This democratic structure fosters a deep sense of pride and belonging among its members, making it one of the most stable and welcoming residential enclaves in the region.

The atmosphere within Meadowbrook is characterized by a tranquil, slower pace of life that appeals to retirees and those looking to downsize. The community is comprised of single-level homes, which are ideal for seniors as they typically feature only a few steps for entry, ensuring ease of access. The neighborhood is meticulously maintained, with a focus on creating a pleasing aesthetic through shared benches, seasonal planters, and a 3-foot garden buffer around each unit where residents can express their personal gardening styles. Whether you are walking through the quiet streets or participating in a community cookout, the environment at Meadowbrook is professional, friendly, and dedicated to the comfort of its residents.

Location and accessibility are primary benefits for those considering a move to Meadowbrook Mobile Park. Situated at 2 Rebecca Avenue in Hudson, Massachusetts, the park is less than a mile from the vibrant downtown area. Hudson has undergone a significant revitalization in recent years, now boasting an impressive array of award-winning restaurants, boutique shops, and local craft breweries. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the Assabet River Rail Trail and Hog Brook are just minutes away, providing scenic paths for walking and cycling. The community is also conveniently located within 30 minutes of both Worcester and Framingham, and under an hour from the cultural attractions of Boston. Accessibility is a priority within the park itself, featuring wheelchair-accessible parking lots and a gated entrance at one end to prevent through-traffic, ensuring a safer and quieter environment for walkers.

One of the most attractive aspects of living at Meadowbrook is the comprehensive range of services included in the monthly lot rent. Because the park is resident-owned, there is no profit margin built into the fees; instead, all funds are reinvested into the maintenance and improvement of the community. This provides residents with significant financial stability and peace of mind, knowing that essential tasks are handled by the association. The Board of Directors works diligently to ensure that the infrastructure remains modern and that the community continues to evolve to meet the needs of its members.

  • Professional snow removal services for all community roads and driveways (typically triggered at accumulations of 2 inches or more).
  • Regular landscaping and lawn mowing services, ensuring a clean and uniform look throughout the park.
  • Weekly curbside trash pickup and recycling services for all residential units.
  • Water usage is included as part of the standard monthly park fees.
  • Resident-led Board of Directors that oversees the annual budget and community rules.
  • Maintenance of common areas, including the gated entrance and community signage.
  • Clear communication through regular association meetings and updates.
  • Ongoing community improvements, such as the development of new outdoor recreation areas.

The features and highlights of Meadowbrook Mobile Park extend beyond the physical homes to include a variety of social and recreational opportunities. The community is designed to encourage interaction among neighbors, with planned celebrations and holiday parties that strengthen local bonds. While the park itself provides a quiet retreat, it is surrounded by local amenities that cater to the 55+ demographic. The Hudson Senior Center is less than five minutes away, offering a robust calendar of over 25 weekly activities, including fitness classes, wellness workshops, and guest speakers. For those who enjoy active sports, pickleball courts are located less than three miles away at the local high school, and the nearby Charter Oaks Golf Course offers additional leisure options.

  • A quiet, gated neighborhood designed specifically for residents age 55 and older.
  • Resident-owned and operated cooperative structure (Meadowbrook Homeowners Association).
  • Single-level living designs with minimal stairs for improved accessibility and safety.
  • Proximity to the Assabet River Rail Trail and downtown Hudson's culinary scene.
  • Planned outdoor recreation areas currently in the works, including spaces for cornhole, bocce, and horseshoes.
  • A safe environment for walking with minimal vehicle traffic and a 5 MPH speed limit within the park.
  • Personalized 3-foot garden buffers for each home, allowing for customized flower beds and landscaping.
  • Close proximity to regional shopping centers, including a nearby Walmart and 7-Eleven for everyday essentials.
  • Access to the Hudson Public Library and its various community book and knitting clubs.

Prospective residents or those seeking more information about available units and the membership process can reach the community office directly. As this is a resident-owned community, it is often best to call during standard business hours to speak with a representative regarding the current waitlist or upcoming listings. Please note that as of late 2025, the community remains a popular choice, so reaching out well in advance of a planned move is highly recommended.

What is worth choosing about Meadowbrook Mobile Park is the combination of affordability, security, and resident empowerment. In a real estate market as competitive as Massachusetts, Meadowbrook offers a path to homeownership that is both financially accessible and socially rewarding. Choosing to live here means more than just finding a house; it means becoming a member of a cooperative that truly cares about the well-being of its neighbors. The resident-owned model ensures that you are protected from the unpredictable rent hikes often associated with corporate-owned parks, providing long-term financial security for retirees on a fixed income.

Furthermore, the peaceful nature of the park, combined with its proximity to the cultural and recreational "hot spots" of Hudson, makes it a premier choice for those who want to stay active while enjoying a quiet home base. The fact that lawns are mowed and driveways are plowed for you allows more time to enjoy life's pleasures, such as visiting a local apple orchard or taking a day trip to Boston. For folks 55 and over looking for a "forever home" in Middlesex County, Meadowbrook Mobile Park delivers a safe, beautifully maintained, and genuinely friendly environment that is hard to match. It is a community built on the values of mutual respect and collective improvement, ensuring that every resident can enjoy a high quality of life in their golden years.

Hello, I'm looking for a place for my RV. Can you give me a phone number to call? The one you have here says it's out of service.

A very quiet neighborhood. Looking forward to a less hectic pace. The whole community is quiet, slower paced, a great place to live, only 2 to 3 stairs to enter homes, all on single level great for folks 55 and over! Gated on 1 end to prevent delivery trucks from using our community as a pass thru. safer for walkers. Benches, planters, overall a pleasing atmosphere, the board of directors makes improvements every year! Each unit has a 3 ft buffer that they can plant gardens, park fees cover water usage, trash pick up, landscaping and snow removal, 2inches and above beyond your 3 ft buffer zone. Plans for an outdoor games/ picnic area is in the works; cornhole, bocci, horse shoes! Pickleball courts less than 3 miles away, at the High school. There's a "sister" community in Leominster Meadowbrook Acres a non over 55 community of mobile homes, where I'm moving in late September 2025, cannot wait! This community on Central st is also a quiet set of neighborhoods!
