Moon Valley was AWESOME…! Great campsites, well kept and maintained, clean and organized, easy to access and overall super convenient - yet still has that “in the woods” feeling of getting off the grid. Brought the whole family and the dog, the kids had a blast and we will absolutely be making this trip many more times. If you enjoy hiking, having the Appalachian Trail access nearby is a great bonus - but we simply enjoyed our time around the campsite with our kids and the dog and relaxed, played some games, enjoyed nature, cooked some campfire meals, and made some great memories sleeping under a full moon! Ideal for a family looking for convenient and comfortable camping - what a great time.

My wife found this place on a whim and let me tell you it did not disappoint what so ever! The location is secluded, peaceful and tranquil! Our camp host dom’s attention to detail is fantastic. We stayed at the hilltop hideaway and I believe it to be the best one to stay in on the site. Super cozy, comfortable and very clean. The heater inside was clutch as one of the nights it got quite chilly. We highly recommend staying here, we will be back!

I took a last minute trip and booked the dome. The views were incredible and the layout of the grounds was great. I loved the easy access to the Appalachian Trail, and it's also a convenient location to many other hiking areas and easy access to grocery stores. The toilets were kept very clean and the dome was spotless. Can't wait to come back.
