For New York-based military families, it offers a "staycation" that feels worlds away from the daily grind while remaining conveniently located near the comforts of the base. The spaciousness of the pull-through sites is a major draw for RV owners who value not having to squeeze into tight spaces, and the presence of level concrete pads simplifies the setup process significantly. The inclusion of full hookups at a competitive rate makes it one of the best-valued campgrounds in the Watertown region.
Furthermore, the park is worth choosing for its robust community features. The availability of a dedicated dog park, multiple playgrounds, and a safe, beach-front environment creates a holistic vacation experience for the whole family. For those who enjoy the "wilderness" feel without the isolation of deep-forest camping, the wooded tent sites provide a perfect middle ground. Whether you are looking for a place to park your rig while visiting family stationed at Fort Drum or you want to spend a weekend exploring the fitness trails and swimming in the pond, Remington Park provides a professional, clean, and welcoming environment that stands as a testament to the quality of Army MWR facilities.

Customer Reviews
Very nice RV park on Fort Drum Army base, easy check in very clean, great laundry room. The spaces were pull through and very spacious. Full hook ups and cement slab to park on. Nice showers and bathrooms. No store on site but the PX is just up the road.
I was unsure what to expect since it's my first time using a camp ground on post. The facilities are nice, showers provided, and laundry room. Service is spotty if you have TMobile but you can rent a WiFi hotspot from the office. I did tent camping and loved the area we were in. Since no one else was there, we were able to choose our spot. It's not close to the main office and in some beautiful woods. There is a bathroom nearby, and each lot has water and electric. The negatives for me are bathrooms lacked check-ups (not sure if campground or park maintenance), and the road is very busy in front of the campsites. There are hiking trails around and behind the campsites, and in the weekday mornings, PT runners go by starting at 0630-0800. There's been a lot of cars driving by and turning around (day and night).I would recommend this place again!
Awesome place for a quick getaway. Friendly staff clean cabins. Park for the kids and the lake are close and lots of trails. My wife and our four boys loved our stay here.
Stayed there 3 times and we loved it! You have to clean up after yourselves like sweeping, mopping and clean the dishes you used. Beautiful quiet cabins at a reasonable price. Pet friendly! 3 beds upstairs in loft, 2 rooms, and a futon with 1 bathroom. If we are ever in the area again we will be back!
We stay in the cabins often - the kids love it. Several nice playgrounds, a great trail network, and basic kitchen amenities make the cabins a great place to visit with younger kids. We pay a little extra for linens, which is worth it if you’re traveling in for a weekend. Check out LeRay Mansion while you’re here, if you like old historic houses.
