As a guest at the campground during this period, you are not just a spectator—you are part of a living workshop. The air is filled with the rhythmic roar of saws and the scent of fresh pine as over a hundred carvers from across the globe transform massive logs into intricate sculptures of wildlife, folklore, and abstract beauty. The atmosphere is professional yet incredibly friendly, making it a staple for families who want to experience the "PA Wilds" in a truly unique way.

The Chainsaw Carvers' Rendezvous was a great experience. First time for myself and my neighbor. We loved every aspect of it!Friendly presenters, visitors, staff; fine food at reasonable prices, and remarkable carvings. Very family friendly! Can't ask for more!!PS.. look how realistic the dog looks in my last photo (#6) -- under the table :-)
This was my first time here and I was very impressed by the Carvers. If you're looking for an exceptional piece of art this is a great show.
A lovely event that raises money for local fire department. Another cold, rainy day though. Wish the bathroom facilities were better. Portable toilets are just disgusting. I waited until I left to use facilities, so wasn't fun walking around.
Best Chainsaw art festival in Pennsylvania. Always amazing.
This is my favorite festival in Ridgway. The level of creativity & skill is simply incredible! The event started out 20 years ago by a small group of carvers & has grown to be the largest non~competitive carving event in the world. Carvers arrive from dozens of countries each year to share knowledge & show what extreme art is all about!
