My Fiancé and I moved to Roamers 3 months ago and are so happy that we did (as our previous campground was not the greatest, they also had no amenities, and our rent was ridiculous among vast other issues)! We are RVing full time until we purchase our home. Our experience so far has been great. The staff is super friendly and on top of their maintenance. They are flexible with payments and work around your pay schedule. Laundry on site, fire wood, and I am pretty sure they are fixing their bathhouses. They also have brand new sites they just put in not long before we moved in. Grateful to be here!
Roamers Retreat is a wonderful place to stay. My family and I recently moved to the region, and we stayed here for about two months while getting on our feet and finding a more permanent place to live. The office staff were accommodating and quick to respond any time we contacted them without going up to the office. Our pull through site had plenty of room for our 38 footer, and we had no interruptions to electricity, water, or internet at any point during our stay. The other long term campers are all very nice and were quick to offer any advice or answer any questions we had about the area. 10/10 would stay again.
If I could give zero stars I would DO NOT GO TO THIS CAMPGROUND!!! I visited this campground for about a month, when we first moved in we were told there are no bathrooms or showers no playground there’s nothing but a laundry room, cause that’s why everyone goes to a campground to do there laundry. the property is horrible there is literally nothing to do here the owners are non existent and the maintenance doesn’t do anything but split wood and dig holes for some reason and that’s jus the start. the first site we were at we got vandalized, had multiple packages stolen and were spied on by some weirdo next to us we made a complaint to the office about all theses things and nothing was done all they said was we could move to another site but they weren’t going to help, so we got the law involved and you would think that would make them fix are issue, but no they just kicked us out for a barking dog BTW MY DOG IS OLD AND RARELY BARKS. do not go here just go to another campsite near by that is cheaper and actually has things to do other than your laundry ps. only 3/6 machines work (this place is just sad)
We live here full-time and I can't say enough good things about this Campground. The staff are super friendly and will accommodate you any way they can. The maintenance man is super nice, he goes out of his way to make sure your taken care of and is talkative. It's a very nice situated Campground, situated in a convenient location, close to everything. The Amish come through Friday's and Saturdays selling baked goods for cheap! They are also renovating the campground, improving things, adding more sites and renovating. The laundry rooms are convenient to use as you can pay right through an app. Its very family oriented here and they don't put up with alot of BS, loud parties, obnoxiousness, etc so rest assured you'll have a very relaxed time! The office/game area is very clean and beautiful!
My family have been staying with Roamers for over 6 years now. We loved the small, quiet and friendly campground so much, we became Seasonal Campers about 4 years ago. The campground is under going major upgrades, which takes time. Any problems that arose, were taken care of immediately over the years and we look forward to many more years with them. The location is great and when the Amish neighbors stop by with fresh veggies and baked goods to sell....it's a good day!!!
