Stateline Campresort & Cabins Introduce
For families in Connecticut seeking a retreat that balances the tranquility of nature with an energetic schedule of activities, Stateline Campresort & Cabins offers a comprehensive outdoor experience. Located in East Killingly, within the region famously known as the "Quiet Corner" of the state, this resort sits right on the border of Rhode Island. It serves as a premier destination for local residents who want the feeling of a far-off vacation without the long-distance travel. The property is nestled along the beautifully wooded shoreline of a fresh-water lake, providing a picturesque backdrop for both seasonal campers and weekend visitors. As a full-service outdoor resort, Stateline focuses on creating a community-centric environment where memories are made through shared experiences, from sunrise over the lake to evening campfires.
The resort is specifically designed to cater to the diverse needs of the modern Connecticut camper. Whether you are looking for the ruggedness of a traditional tent site, the convenience of a full-hookup RV pad, or the comfort of a fully equipped luxury cabin, Stateline provides a variety of lodging tiers. The atmosphere is professional yet welcoming, maintaining a high standard of facility cleanliness while fostering a "fun-first" attitude. It is particularly well-regarded for its themed weekends, which have become a staple for local families. These events transform the campground into a vibrant hub of activity, featuring everything from holiday celebrations like "Christmas in July" to elaborate Halloween festivities during Columbus Day weekend, ensuring that there is always something new to experience with every visit.
Location and accessibility are key highlights for those traveling within the tri-state area. The resort is located at 1639 Hartford Pike, East Killingly, CT 06243, USA, easily accessible via I-395 and the Connecticut Turnpike. This strategic positioning makes it a convenient thirty-five-minute drive for those visiting from the Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun casino areas, and only thirty minutes from Providence, Rhode Island. For Connecticut locals, this means less time on the road and more time at the campsite. The facility is committed to inclusivity, offering a wheelchair-accessible entrance, accessible parking lots, and ADA-compliant restrooms. While the entrance can be a tight fit for larger rigs, once inside, the park opens up into a well-organized layout with on-site parking and a free parking lot for visitors, making logistics manageable even during peak holiday weekends.

For those ready to plan their next adventure in Northeastern Connecticut, the resort can be reached through several direct channels. The physical address is 1639 Hartford Pike, East Killingly, CT 06243, USA. You can contact the main office for reservations or specific site inquiries at (860) 774-3016. The team is also available via their mobile contact at +1 860-774-3016. What is worth choosing about Stateline Campresort & Cabins is the sheer variety of activities that ensure children are never bored. For parents, the peace of mind that comes from a gated, managed facility where kids can safely enjoy a "sprayground" or a fishing derby is invaluable. Choosing this resort means choosing a place that "goes all out" for its guests, particularly during the themed weekends where the staff puts significant effort into decorations and organized events. If you prefer a camping experience that feels like a full-scale outdoor resort rather than just a quiet plot of land, this is the place for you. The combination of beautiful lakeside sunsets and a robust community spirit makes it a standout choice in the "Quiet Corner."
Furthermore, the flexibility of the lodging is a significant draw. The Premium Grand Deluxe cabins provide a "home away from home" experience with full kitchens and bathrooms, making it an excellent entry point for those who aren't quite ready for tent camping but still want to enjoy the lakefront vibe. For the traditionalists, the wooded sites provide that authentic forest feel that Connecticut is known for. While the sites vary in levelness and some areas may have strict security oversight to ensure safety and speed limits, many find that these rules contribute to a more orderly and family-friendly environment. Ultimately, it is the resort’s ability to create a "vacation home" atmosphere for its seasonal and short-term guests alike that makes it a top-tier choice for Connecticut campers.
In summary, Stateline Campresort & Cabins provides a well-rounded and professionally managed escape for those in the Connecticut and Rhode Island region. By offering high-quality amenities like a saltwater-style pool experience, private lake access, and a constant rotation of family-oriented events, it successfully bridges the gap between traditional camping and modern resort living. Whether you are coming for the excellent fishing, the festive Halloween celebrations, or simply to relax by the water, this East Killingly destination offers a local retreat that is both accessible and deeply rewarding for the whole family.

Been camping here seasonally for 6 years! Absolutely amazing! Great space for the kids, so many activities for them to do, fishing , the pool , ceramics and tie-dye! We love coming for Columbus Day weekend it’s their Halloween weekend and they go all out! The themed weekends are a big hit! The lake is beautiful especially at sunset and sunrise
The location was easily accessible with a very tight entrance. There's only one way in and out with a gate. Fine unless someone is leaving at the same time your entering. The sites are on the smaller side and ours was not level at all. There was an individual who was a security figure. He took it upon himself to yell at me two different times, once for going down a road which I was instructed to, and once for my speed which was exactly the posted limit. I was not the only one receiving his shrilling whistles and verbal tongue lashings. We ordered firewood which was expensive and so wet it barely burned. Quiet time was not enforced and the language from other campers who were partying late was loud, vulgar and very inappropriate. All in all, not a place I would revisit.
I would like to share that my husband and I love it here we wish we could stay longer than we have the choice to and we will hopefully in the future be able to camp here with our very own camper. We stayed in the cabin, absolutely clean stocked service was great service at the front desk was wonderful activities for adults and children were perfect. I highly recommend this campsite if you’re looking to have a good time great pool, clean pool clean campsite. I can’t say enough thank you again for the opportunity and being there every step of the way I love this campsite and would recommend it to anybody.
We enjoyed our stay here on the Fourth of July. Lots of activities to keep the whole family entertained and helpful staff always driving around to stop and check in if you need anything. The pool was nice and large to accommodate so many people over the holiday with a slide the kids (and adults) loved
Absolutely Terrible- Avoid Stateline Campground at All Costs! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Do not be fooled by the photos this campground is a complete scam and a health hazard. We stayed in one of the cabins, which were advertised as “clean, cozy and fully equipped.” What a joke. The cabins were filthy to the disgusting outdated kitchen appliances to the awful smell the lingered no matter how many windows were open. And the mattress terrible felt like sleeping on a box of springs. The service? Absolutely horrendous. The staff was rude, disorganized, and seemed they couldn’t care less about the condition of the place or the guests. The only half decent place was the pool even found a way to ruin it. We were told no balls allowed, but if your a seasonal member you can hold a whole dam party with noddles, floaties and glass bottles and when we just passed a ball around we got yelled at, but when the seasonals do it forget about it. And the slide don’t even think about it. It’s rusty, wobbly and looks like it has been maintained in years! Now let’s talk about the pond or should I say the swamp. Their website made it sound like it’s beautiful, where you can fish, kayak and relax but in reality it’s completely overgrown with weeds and algae, totally unfishable and dangerous to kayak. I wouldn’t step a foot in that water even if you offered me a million dollars. This is another example of how horrible this place is!I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy, save you money and your health and avoid Stateline at all costs unless you like going to the doctors.
