West Creek Campground is conveniently located at 1334 PA-118, Benton, PA 17814, USA. Its location directly on State Route 118 makes it highly accessible for local travelers, situated approximately 38 minutes from Williamsport and less than an hour from Scranton. This strategic positioning provides a gateway to some of Pennsylvania's most iconic natural landmarks, most notably Ricketts Glen State Park, which is just 8 miles down the road. The entrance is well-marked, and once on the property, visitors find on-site parking and a layout that keeps essential services within a short walking distance. The accessibility of the site, combined with its secluded feel, makes it a rare find for those who want to feel deep in the woods without navigating difficult backroads.

The main office phone number is (570) 293-9485, and for those using mobile devices, the contact is +1 570-293-9485. The physical address is 1334 PA-118, Benton, PA 17814, USA. What is truly worth choosing at West Creek Campground is the "elevated" nature of the stay. It is the perfect choice for individuals who love the idea of the outdoors but find traditional camping too taxing on their comfort. Specifically, choosing a "Dwelling" or a "Lux" tent is worth it for families who want to experience the magic of a forest campfire and stargazing with the added security of real beds and power. The fact that the campground is located so close to Ricketts Glen—a National Natural Landmark—makes it an ideal basecamp for hikers who want a premium place to rest their feet after tackling the Falls Trail. Additionally, the quiet atmosphere and lack of overgrown trees provide some of the best stargazing opportunities in Columbia County, making every night by the fire pit a memorable event.

For Pennsylvania locals, West Creek offers a rare combination of privacy and community. The sites are intentionally spacious to ensure you don't feel "on top of" your neighbors, yet the communal areas like the bathhouse and lounge provide a sense of shared adventure. The pet-friendly policy ensures that your dog can enjoy the morning walks through the woods with you, and the helpfulness of the staff makes the entire process from check-in to check-out stress-free. Whether you are looking for a romantic glamping getaway or a well-equipped family retreat, West Creek Campground provides the infrastructure and natural beauty to ensure a top-tier outdoor experience.

It’s also a beautiful area—surrounded by nature, which made it perfect for morning walks and evenings by the fire.Whether you’re camping with family, friends, or just looking for a relaxing getaway in nature, West Creek Campground is a fantastic choice. This is by far the best camping experience I’ve ever had! If camping everywhere was like this I’d do it every weekend! The camp ground is super clean, beautiful, quiet. The trees aren’t overgrown or blocking the beautiful skies at night. Everything is a short walk distance. The bathrooms are the most luxurious bathrooms I’ve ever seen for a campground, I’m talking they look like they belong in a fancy house compared to other campground bathhouses I’ve used. No issues with hot water either. The Lux canvas tents are amazing! Room for an entire family without feeling cramped. Power hook up, lighting! Dining table. Truly a memorable experience. I will try and come back as often as possible

The campgrounds are beautiful: clean, well-kept and serene. It is centrally located to great hiking trails of all levels. Our 2 year old grandson and our dog loved hiking at nearby Ricketts Glen National Park and World’s End along the creek. Benton is convenient for local grocery shopping and eating. Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We camped on a turf and it was very secluded and had few neighbors. There are only six primitive campsites, or "turfs" so you never have to worry about it feeling crowded. There is a metal fire pit at each turf and ample room for a large tent and chairs. We were provided with fire wood, tinder, matches, and a little booklet with campground policies and things to do nearby. The bath house is spectacular. It is extremely clean and has very modern amenities. There is a pavilion with tables, chairs, couches, and a projector. It is lit up with soft string lights at night so it is a great place to play board games. There is a pond for catch and release fishing near the pavilion. Speaking of games, the campground has a lovely outdoor games area stocked with games for guests to use. My only complaint would be it's hard to find at night as the sign isn't very well lit. The directional signs inside the campground are very small and hard to read as well. It is only about a ten minute drive away from Ricketts Glen. I couldn't recommend this campground enough

West Creek Campground is best place to camp and explore the surrounding. Our group of friends (5 Families) stayed in “Dwellings” for the weekend and enjoyed the stay. The place is peaceful to relax and enjoy the nature. They provided complimentary Wood log for each Dwellings. The Bathhouse is new and clean. Campground Located close to Ricketts Glen state park, where you can hike 22 waterfalls. Thanks to Vanesa for booking and helping during our stay.
