Hidden Creek Campground is a family-owned and operated destination that offers a quintessential Pennsylvania outdoor experience. Tucked away in the serene landscape of Allenwood, this campground provides a perfect blend of community spirit and natural tranquility. Whether you are a local resident of the Susquehanna Valley or traveling from across the Keystone State, Hidden Creek serves as an inviting retreat for those who love the life of the road or the simplicity of a tent under the stars. The park is meticulously maintained, offering a landscape that features a picturesque fishing pond, a charming covered bridge, and the soothing sounds of a flowing creek that winds through the property.

The atmosphere at Hidden Creek is both vibrant and relaxing. It is a place where seasonal campers and weekend visitors mingle, creating a "home away from home" feeling that many Pennsylvania families have come to cherish. While it is particularly well-suited for RV and trailer camping, the management ensures that there is space for everyone, including those seeking a more secluded tenting experience. From the laughter at the playground to the quiet evenings spent by a crackling firepit, the campground is designed to foster memories that last a lifetime. Its reputation for being safe, clean, and incredibly welcoming makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Central Pennsylvania.

Conveniently located at 62 Hidden Creek Rd in Allenwood, PA, the campground is easily accessible for travelers using major regional routes. It sits just about 15 minutes south of Williamsport and is only a short drive from the I-80 corridor, making it a strategic base for exploring the many attractions of Lycoming and Union Counties. The entrance is marked by its accessibility, featuring a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a dedicated wheelchair-accessible parking lot to ensure that all guests can enter the grounds with ease. The internal roads are largely treated with pea gravel, though visitors should note that these can become characteristic of rural PA roads during heavy rain, requiring a bit of extra care for those traveling on motorcycles or in smaller vehicles.

When considering which Pennsylvania campground to visit, Hidden Creek is worth choosing for its exceptional balance of hospitality and scenic beauty. What truly sets this location apart is the personal touch provided by the owners and staff. This isn't just a place to park an RV; it is a community where guests are treated like family. The seclusion of the tent sites near the creek offers a level of privacy and peace that is often hard to find in larger, more commercialized parks. The inclusion of modern amenities like clean showers and a pool ensures that you don't have to "rough it" more than you want to.

Furthermore, it is worth choosing for its location. Being so close to Williamsport allows campers to enjoy the quiet of the woods while staying within reach of excellent dining, shopping, and historical sites. The dedication to maintaining a safe and engaging environment for children—evidenced by the regular events and well-kept facilities—makes it a premier choice for parents and grandparents. Whether you're here for the fishing, the pool, or the simple joy of a campfire, you’ll find that this "hidden" gem is a place you’ll want to return to year after year.

Very nice & accommodating privately-owned campground! This campground is primarily intended for camping trailers & RVs. Campsites here are extremely close together with electric & water hookups available at each. Several of those who use this campground leave their trailers parked here throughout the summer season. However, there should be a few sites that remain vacant for tent camping and temporary weekend visitors. The property here is nicely maintained and presents views of a covered bridge & fishing pond. The restrooms & showers were clean as was the swimming pool. Additional facilities include a small playground & a large pavilion. This campground is also very close to nearby attractions in the Williamsport area.

I get that some people like to camp near others and party it up. While close sites are available for those that are into that, I absolutely loved the seclusion of our site. We had a pop up camper we pulled with the Harley and used a tent site with water and electric. We had the creek flowing just over the bank from our sleeping quarters and it made for a peaceful nights sleep all week long. The owner and his staff went over and beyond to make sure we had wood, food, and anything else we might need. The small shelter was plenty big enough for a picnic table for shelter from sun and rain. The firepit was a perfect size for consistent heat on those chilly nights. My only suggestion is if you're riding a motorcycle like we were and you had no other modes of transportation, be careful when it rains. The dirt roads get slimy, though there was pea gravel on most of it. I will definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay. It was like one big family there. We wish we could have stayed longer. Fun activities for everyone. Nice pool. One of the long term residents showed a movie outdoors for the kids. We will definitely be back.
