Hughesville Camp Introduce

Hughesville Camp serves as a peaceful and community-oriented getaway nestled in the historic borough of Hughesville, Pennsylvania. For local residents and travelers exploring the Susquehanna Valley, this campground represents a unique blend of historical significance and modern recreational utility. Originally established as a site for religious camp meetings and revivals, the property has evolved into a versatile campground that welcomes the public while maintaining its heritage as a Christ-based facility. Today, it is widely recognized by Pennsylvanians as one of the most cost-effective and tranquil options for RV enthusiasts and families seeking a quiet retreat in Lycoming County.

The atmosphere at Hughesville Camp is characterized by its simplicity and the "shadow of days gone by," offering a nostalgic environment where nature and community take center stage. While the facility retains a rustic charm, it is highly valued for its quiet, comfortable sites that feel secluded despite being located right within the borough limits. Guests frequently describe the park as a hidden gem that offers a high level of comfort without the premium price tag often associated with larger commercial resorts. It is a place where children can play freely and pet owners can relax, all under the watchful care of a dedicated and accommodating caretaker.

Choosing Hughesville Camp is particularly worth it for the budget-conscious traveler who does not want to sacrifice comfort or convenience. During high-demand periods like the Little League World Series, this RV park has been noted to be significantly more affordable than other nearby options, often coming in at less than half the price. I would give actually a 4.5 stars because the camp needs a little TLC but is quiet and very comfortable! I stayed during the Little League World Series in South Williamsport PA which is about 30 minutes from this RV Park. This Park was less than 1/2 the price of other RV Parks during this time of year! It is right in town and close to interstate 180. Close to all you would ever need, but would not know it when you are camping there. They have full hookups for your RVs. The care taker is very nice and accommodating!! Pet friendly!! Loved this place and would recommend it to everyone.

A shadow of days gone by when God and his people gathered for recreation and revival camp meetings. Turned into a lot rental for weekend and permanent living.

Very quiet and peaceful. Small campground with no frills. Partially shaded along a nice creek. Lots are too tight tho. We are lucky to have an empty space beside us for now, because we couldn't even open the awnings when there was a neighbor.
