Rocky Valley RV Resort Introduce

For outdoor enthusiasts and travelers exploring the Granite State, Rocky Valley RV Resort stands as one of the newest and most refined destinations in the New Hampshire region. Located in the charming town of Hillsborough, this resort offers a harmonious blend of rural serenity and modern luxury. Spanning over 140 private acres of lush woods and open fields, the property is designed to provide a spacious and secluded "get away from it all" atmosphere. Whether you are a local resident seeking a weekend retreat or a seasonal traveler looking for a long-term home base, Rocky Valley RV Resort delivers a professional yet warm hospitality experience that reflects the best of New Hampshire’s natural charm.

The resort is distinguished by its commitment to quality and community. Unlike high-density parks, Rocky Valley prioritizes privacy, offering large, level sites that accommodate even the most substantial "big rig" RVs. The landscape is a highlight in itself, featuring over 3,000 feet of state-stocked trout stream along the picturesque Beard Brook, which meanders through the property. From the carefully maintained grounds to the stunning clubhouse that serves as a social hub for guests, every detail has been thoughtfully curated to ensure a comfortable stay. The resort is also proud to be a welcoming and inclusive environment, explicitly identifying as LGBTQ+ friendly and providing a safe, enjoyable space for all types of families and adventurers.

Location and Accessibility are primary advantages for guests choosing Rocky Valley RV Resort. Situated at 27 Carr Road in Hillsborough, the park is easily accessible via major state routes like Route 9 and Route 31, making it a convenient drive from Concord, Manchester, or Keene. To ensure a smooth arrival, the management provides specific driving directions to help travelers avoid narrow dirt roads or low-capacity bridges that can sometimes challenge larger vehicles in rural New England. Once on-site, the resort features a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking lot, as well as accessible restrooms and common areas, ensuring that the beauty of the New Hampshire wilderness is available to everyone.

The services offered at Rocky Valley RV Resort cater to the needs of modern campers who don't want to sacrifice convenience. The resort provides full-service RV camping, including essential hookups that are integrated seamlessly into the natural environment. Beyond the basics, the facility focuses on high-end communal services, such as a state-of-the-art clubhouse and a dedicated campground store for essentials. For those who need to stay connected while enjoying the woods, high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. The staff is known for being exceptionally helpful, often hosting community events like Saturday morning coffee and donuts to foster a friendly atmosphere among guests.

  • Spacious RV sites with full hookups (Water, Electric, and Sewer).
  • High-speed Wi-Fi access for remote work and entertainment.
  • Beautiful clubhouse available for guest relaxation and social gatherings.
  • Modern, luxury public restrooms and gender-neutral facilities.
  • On-site laundry facilities for the convenience of long-term and seasonal guests.
  • A campground store stocked with RV essentials and local goods.
  • Secure on-site parking and a professional dumping station.
  • Acceptance of multiple payment forms including credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments.

The features and highlights of this campground go far beyond standard lodging. The property is a paradise for those who enjoy active recreation and nature-focused activities. With its private trout stream, guests can spend their afternoons fishing or cooling off in the natural swimming holes. For those who prefer land-based adventures, the resort features its own network of hiking and biking trails. The surrounding region of Hillsborough, Bradford, and Warner also offers a wealth of local culture, from working dairy farms and antique shops to the historic Franklin Pierce Reservoir, which provides additional boating and public beach access just minutes away.

  • State-stocked trout stream (Beard Brook) perfect for fishing and natural swimming.
  • Over 140 acres of private woods and fields for exploring and trail blazing.
  • A beautiful community pavilion and clubhouse with regular guest activities.
  • Pet-friendly environment with a dedicated dog park for your four-legged companions.
  • Kid-friendly amenities including a playground (coming for the 2026 season) and safe biking roads.
  • Private fire rings and picnic tables at every site for quintessential campfires.
  • Proximity to local trailheads for ATV and UTV enthusiasts.
  • Stunning fall foliage views, making it a premier spot for "leaf-peeping" in the autumn.

Planning your visit is simple, but as a popular and relatively new destination, it is recommended to book in advance, especially for holiday weekends. The park operates seasonally, typically opening in early May and closing at the end of October. You can reach out to their friendly office staff for information on daily, weekly, or seasonal rates.

Loved this place! Stayed here for 2 months and if circumstances permitted I would have stayed the whole season! I will definitely be returning. The owner and the grounds keeper are very friendly. Every person I met while camping there was also super friendly. Great local spots in neighboring Bradford and Hillsborough; Warner is not far off either with some more great local favorites. LOTS of easy trail blazing options off the roads in the area.

Instantly made it into our top 3 favorites in the state. An hour from home. Extremely clean. Very quiet (though this was far from peak season lol) all staff encountered were incredible. We had 3 sites. Quality hookups, you can tell they did their research and didn't cheap out on design an implementation. Clean well laid out sites. Clubhouse is a real winner along with the bathrooms. Excited to see how well you do, except we'd rather keep it a secret for ourselves! Well done everyone. Good luck going into the next year!Only suggestions I can offer is in the short term adjusting the sites a tad for a more even layout in regards to the fire rings and tables. Long term, I know it's tough to balance space but some type of shrubbery to grow between sights would be welcomed. One place we went in Vermont did a great job putting small thin short trees that helped divide sites and add privacy while not wasting much needed space.Great job everyone we'll definitely be back next season for sure!

An amazing experience, as it was also the first *new* RV Resort we've been to. The owner and his family have put so much beautiful work into this, and finishing touches are being added such as apple, pear, and peach trees. Love that there is a change machine in the laundry room for quarters. The clubhouse in general is a must to check out. Sites are very spacious, and we were at site 1 if you like our view. What a gem! We were here only for a week but will most definitely be back!

My experience was a wonderful one. Kevin and Darren were very friendly, helpful and on top of everything. The bathrooms were consistently clean(as well, there are gorgeous walk in showers that are provided free with the price of the stay) friendly neighbors, secret fields if you have dogs. Reminiscent of the Shire from Lord of the Rings(ask Kevin where to find the best one). Close hiking trails and the Clubhouse has a stove, fridge and games for both the family or for the kids if you parents need some stress relief! The feeling is relaxed, quiet and i will be visiting again!
