Saratoga Hills Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Finding a place to call home in the scenic regions of Upstate New York often means balancing the desire for natural beauty with the need for modern convenience and affordability. Saratoga Hills Manufactured Home Community, located in the charming town of Stillwater, offers residents an opportunity to enjoy a peaceful, country-like lifestyle without sacrificing access to the vibrant culture of Saratoga County. Spanning 108 acres of lush landscape, this professionally managed community is designed to cater to a diverse range of residents, from young families starting their journey to active adults seeking a quiet retreat. The park is a staple of the local residential fabric, having served the area for over four decades while undergoing significant modern improvements under its current ownership by Elgen Homes.
The atmosphere at Saratoga Hills is one of quiet dignity and community pride. Residents often remark on the "hills and mountains" visible from the community, providing a daily backdrop that changes with New York’s distinct seasons. From the vibrant greens of spring to the fiery foliage of autumn, the park offers a visual connection to the Hudson Valley and Saratoga regions. This is a place where rules regarding safety and cleanliness are actively enforced to ensure a high quality of life for everyone. Whether you are taking a morning walk to the mailboxes to watch the sunrise or watching school buses safely navigate the community streets, the emphasis on a secure and friendly environment is evident.
Location and accessibility are two of the strongest selling points for Saratoga Hills. Situated at 1 Pine Lane in Stillwater, NY, the community is perfectly positioned for those who work or play in the Capital District. Stillwater itself is steeped in American history, and residents are just minutes away from the Saratoga National Historical Park. Accessibility for commuters is excellent; the park is within a 20-minute drive of downtown Saratoga Springs and roughly 35 minutes from the state capital in Albany. This makes it an ideal home base for employees of local tech hubs, medical centers, and educational institutions like Skidmore College or Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
For those with specific mobility needs, the community provides wheelchair-accessible parking facilities and ensures that common areas are navigable. The infrastructure within the park includes paved roads and clear signage, making it easy for residents and visitors to find their way. Proximity to major retailers and services is also a benefit, with shopping centers like Price Chopper Plaza and Park Plaza just a short 10-minute drive away. Even though the setting feels tucked away from the noise of the city, the essentials of modern life are always within reach.

Saratoga Hills Park has come along way since Dan has been manager. He works very hard to keep this place going better than anyone has. Look at the play ground. On some days you can catch Dan picking up paper that people throw on the grounds he enforces the rules of the children and school buses. He even works on his days off. He works hard. It's not his rule to chase speeders, the signs are up.If you see someone speeding report them. He's not here as a security guard. He does not control the rent Elgen does he has to do his job. If you think you can do a better job let's see it. He's made this a friendly place to live.
They were very kind in purchasing my trailer during the eviction process. Saved me from foreclosure. The office staff is very kind. This is a safe community. Good for going for a walk at anytime, watch the beautiful sun rise up by the mail boxes overlooking the distant hills and mountains as far as the eye can see.
Moved to my new home in February. Love the neighborhood. Friendly neighbors, wide open spaces, basketball court, picnic area, very clean. The home next door to me is for sale. Would love to have new neighbors!
Nice Park setting but management doesn't follow its own rules. Enforces the rules for some but not others. Roads are poor, they don't fill potholes, so you consistently have car repair bills. They often don't keep to their own timetable to do park repairs, they torn up my back yard to fix drainage problems and never came back (now 6 months later) to make permeant repairs and to fix my yard. Management if often unwilling to work with tenants. and often times down right rude.
I wouldn’t have even given this a star but had to in order to review. We went through a huge mess of emails and texts with this park. We went to go see a home we were interested in and had been talking to the lady about. We made a date for my fiancé and I to come view the place. Once we got there and messaged her she said they had sold it but not to worry they do have another one that’s exactly the same (lies again). So anyway we go look and this place is absolutely beautiful and affordable. I tell them I’d like to continue the process as I love the home and they agreed. I didn’t have 600 credit but was at 550 and they said they could work with that. They approved us and for the next two weeks after that we spent thousands getting furniture storage units bedding you name it. We were more then excited to be accepted only for them to “change their mind” two weeks later and decline us. Something should be done it’s not fair they make exceptions for certain ones.
