Treasure Beach RV Park & Campground Introduce

For outdoor enthusiasts and families living in or visiting the First State, finding the perfect coastal retreat is a top priority. Treasure Beach RV Park & Campground stands as a cornerstone of the Delaware camping community, offering an expansive and vibrant environment that captures the essence of a Mid-Atlantic summer. Nestled along the shores of the Assawoman Bay, this massive facility spans over 100 acres of prime real estate, providing a scenic escape that balances natural beauty with modern, resort-style amenities. Whether you are a local resident looking for a seasonal home away from home or a traveler exploring the Delaware coastline, this park serves as a hub for relaxation and recreation.

The atmosphere at Treasure Beach is characterized by a blend of peaceful waterfront views and high-energy community activities. As one of the largest campgrounds in the region, it caters to a diverse range of guests, from retirees seeking the quiet of a bayside sunset to young families eager for the excitement of the splash pad and playground. The park’s reputation for cleanliness and friendly service has made it a favorite destination for generations of Delawareans who appreciate the ability to enjoy the beach lifestyle without the steep costs and crowds of traditional oceanfront hotels. Here, the focus is on creating memories through shared experiences, whether that involves a friendly game of "water wars" or a quiet evening by a campfire.

Location and Accessibility are among the park’s strongest selling points. Situated at 37291 Lighthouse Road in Selbyville, Delaware, the campground is strategically positioned just one mile west of Fenwick Island. This prime location puts guests within minutes of Delaware’s famous tax-free outlet shopping and the iconic boardwalk attractions of neighboring Ocean City, Maryland. Accessibility is a priority throughout the grounds; the facility features wheelchair-accessible entrances, parking lots, and restrooms, ensuring that all guests can navigate the park comfortably. For those traveling with large rigs, the park offers wide avenues and varied site configurations to accommodate modern RV dimensions. Its proximity to Route 54 makes it an easy drive for residents of Dover, Wilmington, or nearby Sussex County beach towns.

What is worth choosing at Treasure Beach? For many, it is the sheer variety of site types that makes this park a standout choice. You can opt for a "Premium Pull-Thru" which includes concrete pads, hardscaped patios, and brick fire pits for a luxury experience, or choose a "Buddy Site" if you are traveling with friends and want a shared common area. The waterfront sites on the canal or the bay offer a level of serenity that is hard to find elsewhere, allowing you to wake up to the sound of the water and the sight of local coastal birds.

Ultimately, choosing Treasure Beach RV Park & Campground is about choosing a lifestyle. It is worth it for the family that wants their children to stay active and outdoors without having to leave the property. We just returned from a long weekend. It was one of the best camping trips we have had. The staff was so kind and helpful. The pool was a great temperature and the playground and amenities were fun for little ones. The RV sites had great water pressure, and the bath houses were clean. We will definitely be back! Tip: Rent the golf cart. It makes it much easier to get to the other side of the park (the beach area) for live music and to relax on the water.

It's a beautiful campground and very clean. By day we couldn't ask for more! After dark the neighboring campers started getting loud. They were shouting and screaming past 12:30 am. Little kids were running around after 11 pm and dogs were barking nonstop.Every campground we previously camped had a quiet after 10 pm policy for the respect of other campers.

We stayed here this year for vacation. We booked a bay front site. The site was absolutely gorgeous. Very large site, level, concrete pad, super clean. The bathroom facilities were very clean. Staff very helpful. No negative feedback whatsoever. Close to many activities. Would definitely stay here again.
